Pool Lifeguard

Job Brief

The Pool Lifeguard monitors and enforces pool rules and safety regulations to maintain a secure and orderly environment. Educate guests on proper pool etiquette and safety practices while addressing violations in a courteous and professional manner.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead overall administration of the fitness center and pool operations, including position descriptions, SOPs, departmental policies, scheduling, and staff management.
  • Ensure exceptional guest and member satisfaction by maintaining facility cleanliness, safety, service quality, and positive interdepartmental relationships.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and development of fitness center staff, ensuring compliance with hotel standards, safety protocols, and emergency procedures.
  • Drive business growth through promotion and sales of fitness programs, personal training services, memberships, and wellness packages, while supporting marketing and public relations initiatives.
  • Manage daily facility and swimming pool operations, ensuring efficient communication, service delivery, and operational excellence across all departments.

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a certificate or diploma in Recreation, Physical Education, Hospitality, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Must have a Valid Lifeguard Lincense from a recognized organization.
  • Must have current certification in First Aid, CPR, and Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
  • Previous experience as a lifeguard in a hotel, resort, water park, sports club, or similar recreational facility is preferred.
