Job Brief
The Bingo Cashier is responsible for processing customer transactions accurately, safeguarding cash collections, maintaining complete and accurate financial records, and delivering excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for the security of cash-on-hand.
- Accountable for all cash collections or remittances as well as any prize releases.
- Ensures proper cash collections, cash count, and cash handover every business shift.
- Prepares reports of the daily operation (cash collection, disbursement, deposits, prize pools, etc.).
- Ensures accuracy and timeliness in inputting details in the system.
- Ensures that Standard Operating Procedures are followed at all times.
- Submits timely reports to the Senior Cashier.
- Greet customers as they approach the counter and provide excellent customer service.
- Accept and process payments through cash, credit, or debit cards.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers.
- Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and reconcile discrepancies.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a timely and effective manner.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and keep it fully stocked with needed supplies.
- In charge of all site payable requests, in coordination with the Senior Cashier.
- Ensure that all transactions are recorded accurately and securely.
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cashier, teller, or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures and basic financial recordkeeping.
- Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Honest, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential financial information with integrity.
- Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays as required.
