Supervisor, EPR

Job Brief

The Supervisor, EPR is responsible for providing basic and emergency first aid service to staff and customers to aid in quick recovery after an accident and/or the protection and facilitation of life during an emergency. The Supervisor, EP will also assist the Assistant Manager/Manager, Emergency Preparedness & OSH in the completion of routine site inspections and in other tasks as required.

Job Responsibilities

  • Adhere to and promote property fire safety and health and safety requirements. Actively participate in health and safety activities to ensure that workplace hazards are minimized, and the health and safety of all employees is valued.
  • Deliver a best practice First Aid service to staff, contractors, and patrons in a 24hr / 7-day environment, on a rotating shift basis.
  • Maintain accurate records of first aid activity in accordance with procedures.
  • Liaise with Operations Manager, Security on a shift-by-shift basis and assist them through the delivery of prompt first aid services or request for assistance as required.
  • Assist in health surveillance programs and other programs relative to employee health and well-being, in line with legislative and company / property requirements.
  • Conduct the ordering, replacing of first aid stock and inspection/maintenance of first aid equipment.
  • Adhere to and promote a broad range of First Aid procedures and be aware of and act in accordance with Security Operation Department instruction and requirements.
  • Assist with relevant site inspections and promptly report and/or rectify any actual or potential Fire, Health and Safety hazards.
  • Use cultural awareness and understanding whilst maintaining effective standards of written and verbal communication with staff and customers in the workplace.
  • Assist in the delivery of fire prevention and safety promotion activities.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience
  • 2-3 years working experience in the same field.
  • Relevant industry experience including treatment, managing emergency first aid and Triage system.
  • Training qualifications an advantage.
  • Being a registered nurse (RN) is an advantage.
  • Education
  • Tertiary level.
  • Certificate of Competency or courses in Adult First Aid and CPR.
  • Certificate of Competency or course in Basic Fire Fighting.
