This May 2026, LaVie brought art to life through its “Live the Art, Love LaVie” Wall Mural Competition, a vibrant campaign that transformed artistic vision into immersive visual storytelling within the resort.
Inspired by LaVie’s signature lifestyle message, “Live the Life,” the competition invited local artists to present original mural concepts that reflected bold imagination, authenticity, and dynamic storytelling. Designed to spotlight originality, spatial creativity, and striking color expression, the initiative became a platform for both emerging and established artists to leave their mark within one of Manila’s premier lifestyle destinations.
By mid-afternoon, Pedro Gil came alive. There were rows of vibrant booths that lined the street, the air filled with the scent of grilled street food, freshly brewed coffee, and sweet pastries. Guests wandered through the street market in Manila that had something for everyone.
From May 4 to 9, 2026, the resort buzzed with energy as selected finalists turned blank wall panels into captivating large-scale artworks, giving guests a rare opportunity to witness creativity unfold live on-site. The atmosphere transformed into a celebration of artistry, where every stroke and detail reflected the individuality and passion of the participating artists.
Five outstanding winners were awarded cash prizes, dining vouchers, and the exclusive opportunity to have their works featured within the property, allowing their art to become part of the LaVie experience itself.
More than a competition, “Live the Art, Love LaVie” reflects the resort’s continuingcommitment to supporting the local creative community and fostering meaningful artistic collaboration.
